The last round is upon us and we have 3 teams fighting for 2 spots in the finals.
The Sweaty Gooch – The reigning premiers are out of contention and cannot make finals, the boys aren’t pointing fingers but Crosby and Grieve have been mentioned.
Below Average – As their name would suggest, they’ve performed this way too – cannot make finals.
Still Running – After a shaky start to the season they are locked on top and cannot miss finals but will need to win this week to stay on top. Their success must be put down to their courageous captain Tony Jolley who finally contributed in week 6 of the competition, obviously the peptides took a bit longer to kick in skip.
The Rag Tag – With a bye this week guaranteeing them the win, The Rag Tag cannot miss finals and their position will depend on other results.
The Ski’s – After a couple of years down the bottom of the ladder the Ski’s have put themselves in with a very good chance at a finals birth. A big task though in the top of the table clash against Still Running.
The Afternoon Shift – One of the favourites at the start of the season they come into the last round needing to win, win well and either Swingers or The Skis to lose for their chance to sneak into the finals.
Swingers – Currently sitting in 4th place the Swingers fate is in their own hands with all the pressure lying on their captain. After not really contributing all season, now would be the time to chuck the team over his shoulder and walk into the finals……. or choke and let everyone down.
Very tight at the top and i’m sure we will see a lot of movement in the last round. Good luck to all.
