Dear Members & Guests,

As you are aware, measures to control the Coronavirus (COVID-19) have evolved very rapidly in Australia and around the world in recent days. The health and safety of members, guests and staff is paramount to our club.

We ask that members exercise the same level of judgement and follow the guidelines outlined for the benefit of the Eynesbury Golf.

Travel

If you have travelled in the past 14 days or intend to travel or have been in contact with any person suffering from the COVID-19 virus, you are requested not to attend the club until you complete a 14-day isolation period.

Information regarding international travel is being updated by Australian Health authorities on a regular basis, so for further information please click HERE for the latest advice.

Incident Reporting
It is vitally important should you or anyone you have been in contact with, tests positive for the Coronavirus, you contact our club immediately. Before entry to club is permitted, you may be required to provide a Doctors Certificate stating that you are not or no longer carrying COVID-19.

Please contact Golf Operations Manager, Brad Alton 0402069370 or brad@eynesbury.com.au

Events
The government has recently advised that non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people should be cancelled. At this stage, we do not have any upcoming events that would warrant cancelling under this advice. That said, every upcoming event will be considered on a case by case scenario and modified as required to ensure the maximum level of protection.

Members will be advised accordingly of such changes if and when required.

Hygiene

The club has active hygiene policies in place, and we would appreciate your support with the following:

  • Wash hands often with soap and running water, for at least 20 seconds.
  • Hand sanitiser has been left in all buildings and we would encourage you place a bottle in your golf bag.
  • Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow .
  • Most importantly – if you feel any flu like symptoms (even mild) please stay home.
  • Shaking hands is not advised!

What’s next?
Eynesbury Golf will continue to keep you updated frequently as changes to our operations occur, the best source of information will be on our website and through e-mail contact.

We thank you for your understanding and co-operation during this challenging time.

Regards,

Brad Alton
